Miniaturised thermal imaging camera
21.04.2009
The latest achievement in the field of temperature measurement bears the name thermoIMAGER TIM. The extremely small infrared camera is intended for stationary use in the industrial environment. The camera helps quality assurance and process monitoring on production lines in confined conditions. Special emphasis must be placed on the absolute measuring method of the camera. A temperature value is uniquely assigned to each measured pixel. The camera is available with measuring ranges between -20 °C and +900 °C. The FPA detector used provides very precise results with 160x120 pixels for a pixel size of 35 µm. The thermoIMAGER TIM has a fast USB 2.0 port. This port is used for parameterisation, power supply and for the data output. Combined with a PC, the intuitive user interface provides fast settings and infrared images of the measurement object. The signal output is also possible as analogue 0 - 10 V.
