Capacitive dual-channel system

The capacitive multi-channel system offers the best solution for measuring tasks in which the very highest resolution is required. Two channels are available in the capaNCDT 6500 C version. The rack holds up to eight channels in the standard version. However, the 6500 C capaNCDT is the right choice if only two channels are needed. The smaller rack offers all the benefits of the standard series. One major advantage is the ease of use, illustrated for example by a graphical display that shows the signal on the device itself. The integrated Ethernet interface enables the control and monitoring of measurements via a network. In addition, the user can choose between an integrated and an external preamplifier for each channel, therefore achieving a distance of 20m between sensor and controller. Thickness measurement can be programmed directly in the integrated calculation functions. Therefore, as a result, a PC is not required for calculations.

The system provides nanometre resolution and so can measure for example the deflection of stone slabs under load.

The capaNCDT 6300, 6310 and 6350 controllers are available as single-channel solutions. Depending on the models concerned, these controllers offer a cut-off frequency of up to 50kHz, nanometre resolution, or an 11m distance between the sensor and controller.
