High-resolution IR images

The thermoIMAGER TIM series of compact infrared cameras includes four versions, the two latest being the thermoIMAGER TIM 400 and TIM 450. These models offer a very high resolution of 382 x 288 pixels, which makes them suitable for recording and monitoring extremely detailed pictures. These new cameras can provide a thermal sensitivity of up to 40mK, so even the slightest differences in temperature can be detected. The series includes four models with temperature ranges between -20°C and 1500°C. Lenses are currently available with an angular field of view of 30° and 13° for application-specific use. The number of pixels available is more than four times higher than with traditional infrared cameras. This significantly improves resolution. Even the smallest objects of 0.8mm² can be detected reliably.
An impressive image frequency of 80Hz enables infrared imaging in real time, for example, to monitor high speed production processes.
