The eddyNCDT 307x from Micro-Epsilon is an extremely powerful and precise displacement measuring system for industrial measurement tasks such as machine monitoring. It is designed for measuring ranges below 1 mm. While the system detects quantities such as displacement, distance, position, runout, extension, oil film thickness and thermal expansion with submicron accuracy and a frequency response up to 20 kHz. The system is used in plant and machine building, automotive industry, automation technology and test benches.
The eddyNCDT 307x consists of a controller, a sensor and a cable. At the factory, all sensors are matched to ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic objects. The system is extremely temperature-resistant, as both the sensor and the controller are temperature-compensated. This enables highly precise measurement values, even when the ambient temperature fluctuates. The sensors are designed for temperatures up to 200 °C and an ambient pressures up to 700 bar. The compact and robust design as well as the compatibility of the miniature sensors, make the eddyNCDT 3070 ideal for installation in machines and systems. In order to maximize the measurement accuracy, multipoint calibration regardless of the distance is possible.
For fieldbus connection, the industrial-grade M12 Ethernet interface is integrated. It is possible to configure the analog outputs in such a way that the measurement values can be output as voltage or current. A modern web interface enables user-friendly parameter setup and configuration of sensor and controller.
