With the new wireSENSOR K140 draw-wire sensor, Micro-Epsilon offers a measuring range of up to 12 m in its K series with plastic housing. Thanks to its compact dimensions of just 140 × 140 × 99 mm, the sensor can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of applications requiring large measuring ranges in limited installation space.
Robust against dirt, moisture and weather conditions
The K series sensors are designed for industrial and outdoor applications. The compact glass-fiber-reinforced plastic housing and durable sensor construction provide reliable protection against dirt, moisture and other environmental influences. The wireSENSOR K140 also offers a wide temperature range from -40 to +85 °C. This ensures stable measured values even under demanding ambient conditions, for example when measuring boom extension on mobile cranes, on telehandlers or in elevator technology.
Flexible analog and mechanical versions
The sensor is particularly suitable for series production and OEM projects where robustness and cost efficiency are equally important. The K140 is available as an analog version (current / voltage / potentiometer) or as a purely mechanical version. This allows the sensor version to be tailored precisely to the existing evaluation concept and integration environment.
